When rifle hunting, a good sling is more important than you realize. With this season nearing its end, you may have learned that very lesson.

There are several styles of slings available; everything from traditional two-point leather straps like grandpa used to more modern nylon slings with QD mounts and adjustment handles. One is not necessarily better than the other, but what suits the shooter best is what really matters. Here’s a few options to make next season’s hunt a little better, at least when walking to your spot:

1. Vickers Push Button Sling with Swivels

This sling is at the top of the list because of its durability and features that make it super easy to adjust and use in the field. While you will have to put QD mounts on your rifle, once you get this sling mounted you’ll be glad you did. Available in several color patterns, you can even match your rifle with this durable 1.25” CORDURA webbing and nylon hardware.

2. 1791 Gunleather Premium Rifle Sling with Suede Slip-Resistent Backing

Some rifles just feel better with a leather sling. For those folks, we offer this leather sling with suede slip resistant backing. This sling is strong enough for those long days when you pack your lunch, but nice enough for that pic for the Gram.

3. Blue Force Gear Hunting Sling

Sometimes its best to keep it simple. Blue Force Gear does just that with their Hunting Sling while maintaining their high quality standards. Made right here in the good ol’ USA, the Hunting Sling is one you can count on in the thick stuff.

4. BLACKHAWK! Shotgun Shell Sling Two Point

Shotgun hunters rejoice! BLACKHAWK! Has a simple two-point sling that allows storage of 15 extra rounds for those of you who may need a make-up shot… or two.

5. Butler Creek 1.25" Utility Sling

Ah yes, the Utility Sling. So simple in both function and its name. It’s the sling that’s been used for generations and will be used for many more. Sometimes you just need a sling to get the job done. This sling will do just that.

Didn't see what you were after up above? You'll definitely find it at With a wide array of colors, styles, sizes and adapters, you can craft the sling setup of your dreams.
