Weatherby  announces the chambering of 300 PRC, 7mm PRC, and 28 Nosler in several of its Mark V platforms, including the Accumark, Backcountry 2.0 series, and Apex. A few months back, Weatherby pioneered in loading premium ammunition in 300 PRC, 7mm PRC, 6.5 PRC, 28 Nosler, and 280 AI, which have been meticulously tested and developed to spearhead the industry in both velocity and terminal performance. Consumers are assured of hand-loaded precision in commercially produced ammunition.

The Hammer Custom Bullets (HCB) are tailor-made for Weatherby ammo, featuring non-standard weights that, through rigorous testing, have proven to provide optimal accuracy and velocity, making the Weatherby & Hammer combination exceptionally lethal.
• Swift Sciroccos: These bonded bullets, with Swift’s signature black tips, are designed for hunting and long-range efficiency. Its progressively tapered pure copper jacket controls expansion across a wide range of velocities, ensuring excellent terminal performance even at extended ranges.
• Berger Elite Hunter: These bullets are designed with the longest possible Hybrid ogive, ensuring less sensitivity to seating depth and maximized efficiency in the wind. They produce the highest possible Ballistic Coefficients and incorporate a slightly thinner J4 Precision hunting jacket, which allows for rapid expansion after penetrating 2″ to 3″, resulting in a devastating wound channel and unmatched terminal performance.

Weatherby is also excited to offer premium Weatherby brass for each cartridge, featuring tight powder capacity tolerances for precision loading, ensuring extremely consistent performance and maintaining a low standard deviation in velocity.
