Seekins Precision has introduced the SIC (Seekins Interchangeable Caliber) rifle, a purpose-built, modular bolt-action precision platform engineered to meet the demands of military, professional, and long-range precision shooters. The SIC represents a departure from traditional single-caliber precision rifles, emphasizing adaptability, rigidity, and sustained accuracy under heavy use.
At the core of the SIC platform is a true interchangeable-caliber system, allowing users to swap barrels, bolts, and magazine components to support multiple cartridges without sacrificing zero repeatability or system integrity. Available chamberings include 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, .300 Win. Mag., .300 PRC, .300 Norma, .338 Norma, and .338 Lapua, covering a wide range of operational and long-range precision needs.
The rifle is built around a one-piece steel receiver with an integral 20-MOA optics rail, designed to maintain alignment under recoil and sustained firing. A three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw provides fast cycling while preserving clearance for large-frame optics and clip-on devices.
Seekins manufactures its carbon-fiber-wrapped barrels in-house, incorporating machined flats that assist with barrel changes and suppressor removal while maintaining consistent torque and alignment. The aluminum handguard features full-length ARCA compatibility, M-LOK mounting surfaces, and a top rail machined to match the receiver’s 20-MOA cant—an important consideration for night-vision and thermal clip-on users.

The SIC is equipped with a fully adjustable folding stock, offering tool-less adjustments for length of pull, cheek height, and buttpad positioning. When deployed, the stock locks rigidly in place with no detectable movement, preserving consistency when shooting from supported or improvised positions. The folding mechanism reduces overall length for transport without compromising structural integrity.
Additional design details include an ambidextrous safety, a TriggerTech Diamond two-stage trigger, and onboard tool storage to support field maintenance and configuration changes.
Weighing approximately 15.5 pounds, the Seekins SIC is positioned as a mission-driven precision system rather than a lightweight hunting rifle. The platform was developed to withstand extended firing schedules, environmental extremes, and repeated caliber changes while maintaining accuracy and point-of-impact consistency.
The SIC rifle is currently listed with an MSRP of approximately $8,900, reflecting its modular design, in-house components, and intended professional-grade use.
