*NEW* Limited Edition GT25 Pistol

Working with Ruger Firearms and Lipseys, a major firearms distributor, Gun Talk Radio announces a limited edition Ruger Custom Shop SR1911 10mm pistol designed for personal protection in the wilds or the city.  The GT25 pistol commemorates 25 years of Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk, the original national radio talk show about firearms and gun rights.  

The GT25 is an all-steel 1911 pistol in Commander size, chambered for the powerful 10mm auto cartridge.  It is made by the Ruger Custom Shop, where a small group of artisans builds each pistol with custom, upgraded components and then hand fits each firearm to insure tight tolerances as well as accuracy and reliability.

“This is a pistol for those who want the best,” said Tom Gresham, host of Gun Talk Radio.  “We started the design with the time-proven 1911 design, added the input from the specialists at Lipsey's and the Ruger Custom Shop, and created an easy-shooting, easy-to-carry 10mm classic that I personally count on for protection from any predator up to and including bears.”

“We had planned for the GT25 to be released last year, which was the 25th anniversary of Gun Talk Radio on the air,” said Ryan Gresham, president of Gun Talk Media.  “Unfortunately, constraints of COVID-19 delayed it a year, but I know shooters will agree it’s worth the wait.  The first time I shot this compact 10mm I was startled at the light recoil from such a powerful cartridge.  Using an all-steel frame on the brilliant 1911 platform makes it a dream to shoot.”
