Garmin has announced three major product additions aimed squarely at shooters, long-range precision users, and tactical professionals. The new releases include the Xero C2 Chronograph, the Xero L60i Laser Rangefinder, and the tactix 8 – Cerakote Edition smartwatch, each designed to bring deeper data integration and rugged durability to real-world shooting and field applications.
Together, the launches reinforce Garmin’s growing footprint in the shooting sports and tactical equipment space, combining ballistic data, GPS mapping, and materials technology across multiple platforms.

The Xero C2 Chronograph builds on the success of Garmin’s original Xero C1, delivering faster processing, improved shot tracking, and expanded ecosystem connectivity. The compact, portable chronograph is designed to capture accurate muzzle velocity data without requiring traditional downrange sensors, making setup faster and safer on crowded firing lines.
The C2 integrates with the ShotView™ mobile app and compatible Garmin smartwatches, allowing shooters to record sessions, compare loads, and automatically push velocity data into Applied Ballistics® profiles. Garmin positions the Xero C2 as a premium chronograph solution for reloaders, precision rifle shooters, and competitive shooters seeking streamlined data collection and analysis.

Garmin also unveiled the Xero L60i, a laser rangefinding monocular that merges high-end optics with onboard GPS and full-color augmented-reality mapping. The L60i is capable of ranging targets out to 3,600 meters, while overlaying distance, waypoints, and navigation data directly inside the eyepiece.
Unlike traditional rangefinders, the L60i allows users to mark targets, visualize terrain, and reference maps without breaking position or shifting focus to a secondary device. Garmin describes the system as an all-in-one solution for long-range shooters, hunters, and tactical professionals operating in complex terrain where spatial awareness is critical.

Rounding out the announcements is the tactix 8 – Cerakote Edition, a new variant of Garmin’s flagship tactical smartwatch. Rather than introducing new sensors or software, this edition focuses on durability, featuring a Cerakote ceramic-polymer coating applied and oven-cured to the 51mm case.
Cerakote, widely used in firearms and industrial equipment, provides enhanced resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and chemicals. Garmin notes that each watch develops a unique wear pattern over time, emphasizing function and character rather than cosmetic perfection. The tactix 8 Cerakote Edition retains all core tactix features, including stealth mode, night-vision compatibility, multi-band GPS, Applied Ballistics support, and long battery life.
The three product launches reflect Garmin’s continued investment in data-driven shooting tools and mission-ready wearable technology. The Xero C2 and Xero L60i expand Garmin’s Xero ecosystem for shooters seeking integrated ballistic and positional awareness, while the tactix 8 Cerakote Edition offers a durability-focused option for users operating in harsh environments.
Availability varies by product, with select models beginning to ship in early 2026 through authorized Garmin dealers and Garmin.com.
