Loaded Gun Fires A Round and Strikes Firefighter

A strange one out of Wisconsin: The Cornell Fire Dept. Chief says one of their firefighters battling a structure fire was hit by a live round after a gun inside the structure discharged due to the high temperatures. Is it possible for a firearm to get so hot that it fires a round?
