Up against the newspaper?
If a store manager says he advertises in the newspaper, ask them if they know the editorial position of that paper...relative to guns. That is, the newspaper may be trying to put the gun store out of business. On Tom Gresham's Gun Talk, we support the responsible use of firearms, which means we support those local businesses that sell firearms. The question to ask is why a firearms retailer would financially support a newspaper, which does not support that business.
